Quick, schools out (for some), be the first to book up these cooking classes for children.
The Grosvenor Arms in Shaftesbury is running a series of fun children’s cooking sessions for budding Jamies and Nigellas during the school summer holidays with Suki Addington of Vanilla Pod.
The two courses, which are aimed at children from 6 – 12 are being held on Thursday 17 July and Thursday 28 August 2014 between 9.30am and noon on the long zinc tables in the hotel’s restaurant. During the 2 ½ hour sessions children will have the chance to make a selection of fun seasonal foods such as Italian bread in old tomato tins, pizzas with toppings of their choice and parmesan shortbreads as well as some surprise treats to take home and share with friends and family after the session. The cookery sessions will cost £25.00 per child including refreshments and all ingredients. Places are limited so please book a place on the course by calling The Grosvenor Arms on 01747 850580.
