Shaftesbury Abbey Museum are proud to be part of the National Festival of British Archaeology. On Sunday 20th July they will be offering practical activities to find out what it was like living and working in an Abbey or Monastery Farm. You will be able to investigate the medieval food and cooking methods, making of medicines, spinning and weaving, plus other crafts and games. There will also be a chance to try your hand at dowsing and handling Tudor objects.
There is no need to book, but children must be accompanied by an adult.
