“Playful, imaginative and original.” Audience member
Paper Balloon Theatre Company is renowned for creating top quality children’s theatre and Once Upon a Snowflake is no exception. Two performers blend shadow puppetry, Paper Balloon’s signature style of storytelling and an original live soundtrack that will captivate family audiences aged 3 and over.
When asked how a live soundtrack adds to the overall experience of the performance, Artistic Director of Paper Balloon Alex Kanefsky said:
“Music is integral to all our performances. For this piece we wanted a live score to accompany action all the way through. It helps set the atmosphere, tell the story, provides tension and adds an extra dimension to the words and images of the performance.”
Once Upon a Snowflake takes place on Saturday 31 January at 11am & 2pm. Tickets are £7.50, £6.50 concessions or £24 for a family of 4 and can be booked online 24 hours a day at www.salisburyartscentre.co.uk or through the Box Office on 01722 321744 (open Tuesday – Sunday, 10am – 3pm).
