All Hallows Cricketers Selected To Join Somerset's Junior Pathway Centre

Within today’s society, keeping fit and healthy is just as important as the intellectual side of learning…

Seven pupils at All Hallows School in Somerset have excelled within their cricket training, and have been specifically selected to take part in the Somerset County Cricket programme. Over 1,000 pupils took part in the recent Player Pathway Assessment; generating incredibly high standards of play. Seven pupils from All Hallows School have been chosen to join the programme - William, Harry, Woody, Shona, Scarlett, Alfie and Victor (pictured below):

For seven young pupils to gain selection for the Somerset County Cricket pathway programme is a significant achievement. Each of those selected have been part of the All Hallows’ Cricket Academy, which provides additional coaching to those young pupils with a desire to enhance their cricket education. It is an additional demand on their valuable time but each one is committed and determined to succeed. I am delighted for all of them and I look forward to seeing how they perform at a higher level.

The aim of the Player Pathway is to provide every individual with the best possible experience and give players the opportunity to develop and challenge themselves.

The Player Pathway Plan for 2018/2019 has been tailored to both boys and girls separately to provide every individual with the best possible experience and give players the opportunity to develop and challenge themselves across the winter training and summer match play programmes.
