Boundary Oak School Going From Strength To Strength!

Celebrating success and achievements is key within both children and adults, and Boundary Oak School in Fareham has done just that…

A teenage sport scholar and Olympics hopeful is celebrating a successful 2019 after becoming an English national swimming champion. Charlie Holyer, a year 9 pupil at Boundary Oak School in Fareham, represented Great Britain at the British National Swimming Competition Glasgow in July, achieving Gold medals for both the 200m and 400m Freestyle.

The teen, who was awarded the Headmasters’ Cup at the Boundary Oak annual Speech Day recently in recognition of his achievements, has his sights set on a team GB place at Paris 2024.

Charlie Holyer beams with happiness after receiving his medals…

Charlie is an inspirational pupil. He consistently achieves at the highest level in both sport and academia. He is a determined, hardworking and conscientious young man who has made excellence a habit. Everyone at Boundary Oak is incredibly proud of him.

In addition to this, Boundary Oak School has also announced its partnership for 2020 with three well-deserving charities…

They will be supporting mental health charity Young Minds and Hampshire and IOW Wildlife Trust, as well as continuing to work with SSAFA, the UK's oldest national tri-service military charity. The aim of the partnerships is not solely centered around fundraising schemes, but is more about building upon the World view of the pupils, and generating links with the wider community.

At Boundary Oak we feel strongly that it is of great benefit to our pupils to have made a contribution, at whatever level, to help improve the lives of others.
