Wondering how to please all the family this summer holiday? In need of childcare when term ends? Looking for ways to make the most of your summer in 2022? Help is at hand at Marlborough College Summer School from 10 July to 6 August 2022

SOMETHING FOR EVERYONE

From the creative arts to science, history and culture to life skills and well-being, this much-loved Wiltshire event truly offers something for everyone. Choose from an incredible range of over 500 courses suitable for all ages and interests during the day and then indulge in the eclectic evening entertainment.

All courses run from Monday to Friday and last for either five full or five half days, giving you the opportunity to enjoy up to two different courses each week.

As well as staying at the College with their families, young people are welcome to attend Summer School each day. Eligible working parents can use Childcare Vouchers or the new tax-free scheme, Childcare Choices to help pay for courses.

Junior Troopers (ages 3-6) and Children's Activities  (ages 6-9) adopt the multi-activity approach with a packed programme of arts and crafts, music, sports and outdoor games.

Like the Adults, Young Adventurers (ages 9-12) and Teenagers (ages 13-17) can choose a morning and afternoon course, which they continue all week. Just some of the inspirational new activities on offer include Robotics, Drone Coding, Creating with Mosaics, Water-sports, Baking Academy, Song-Writing Fun, Crime Scene Detectives and even a Teen Apprentice for budding entrepreneurs!

UNMISSABLE EVENING ENTERTAINMENT

Another highlight of the Summer School experience is the entertainment on offer to both Summer School students and the public. Certain to be a big hit this year with families is Illyria’s outdoor production of Peter Pan, which features real flying! What’s more under 18s go free, so make sure you book your tickets early.
