Pink Lady® Food Photographer of the Year was founded by Caroline Kenyon and her team in 2011. The Awards celebrate the very best in food photography and film from around the world and is open to professional and amateur photographers, old and young.
But hurry, the closing date for competition entries is 5 February, so there’s still time to get snapping and enter the world’s most prestigious celebration of all that is special and significant about food photography and film.
The competition includes free to enter categories for 10 years and under, 11-14 years and 15-17 years, and offers budding food photographers the chance to have their food photos seen by their highly regarded judging panel, and the opportunity to attend the awards ceremony in London in April. The judges are looking for any images at all featuring food. Food in the field, food on your plate, food in the street. Wherever you see food, you can take a prize-winning image.
Judges for 2017 include legendary Chef Gary Rhodes OBE, Jay Rayner, The One Show, Masterchef and Kitchen Cabinet, David Loftus, Jamie Oliver’s Photographer and Barney Harwood, TV Presenter and Photographer.
The subject matter goes far beyond pretty plates of food, for inspiration please visit the 2016 gallery and view some of the incredible entries from last year.
