The world famous Oktoberfest is returning to Shaftesbury! Celebrate the start of Autumn in style with quality music from live bands, premium German lagers served in litre steins, drinking games, thigh-slapping, Bavarian bratwursts, pretzels and lots of fun. Barton Hill Recreation Ground will be transformed into a Bavarian Bierhalle on 11th and 12th October offering an authentic German cultural experience.

​New for 2019 is a gaming area where there will be axe throwing, eating contests and beer puppeteer. There will also be a VIP area with dedicated entrance and waitress service.
