Cranborne Garden Centre is hosting a range of family activities over the Easter weekend, including an Easter egg hunt from Saturday to Monday, a sow a sunflower competition and bunny face-painting! Set in the picturesque former walled kitchen garden of Cranborne Manor the Garden Centre stocks a wonderful selection of homewares, gifts and gardening accessories in the gift shop, and a wide variety of roses, herbaceous and bedding plants, and shrubs – a hub of inspiration for gardeners and families alike, over the Easter break.
Easter weekend traditionally signifies that spring has finally arrived and there hasn’t been a better time to get back into the garden and start working on your vegetables, boarders, containers and lawns. Good Friday is the traditional day to planet potatoes! The centre has experts on hand to advise visitors on all matters horticultural, be it beginners keen to get green fingers or seasoned expert gardeners.
The Café has recently welcomed an exciting new chef whose dishes have already generated rave reviews, with over 100 lunches served over Mother’s Day! As well as delicious lunches and teas in the Café, the gift shop also has a range of Easter treats on sale. A set menu will be on offer in the Café for Easter Sunday (12pm to 2.30pm) but booking is essential.
