As I approach what is deemed ‘Middle Age’ and said to occur from the age of forty, I thought it prudent to perhaps take more of an interest in my health, especially as my body keeps telling me to.
With signs of neglect from a past life (before children) starting to show, the need to visit a doctor had come and an appointment was made. In the waiting room my desire to leave was almost too much but I stayed strong and when the doctor was ready, some 15 minutes later than scheduled, I sat down and discussed my symptoms. A rather rushed and disappointing 10 minutes later I was told that nothing could be done except a prescription for life and an exploratory appointment referred.
My battle with my symptoms continued and I am a firm believer in finding the route cause instead of masking the cause with modern medicine. I had over the last few years tried to figure out why I was experiencing my symptoms; was it an irritation to food, allergic to washing powder, intolerance to something? Anything to give me a route in which to investigate further, I have always drawn a blank… until now!
I met Gail Lummis at a recent networking event and found she had a similar story to me and was also met with a diagnosis she found hard to believe. Her diagnosis was for a fairly invasive operation however she sought a second opinion and was told that in actual fact her career lifestyle (eating on the go, networking and corporate hospitality) had all taken its toll and that as she had created her symptoms so she could in fact undo them. A simple enough statement but one that is hard to find until you are blatantly told.
So where to start, Gail entered into a world of nutrition and discovered a practitioner that could tap into the meridian lines with a series of frequencies to determine which are stressing the body and causing an imbalance. Her reading was to change her life forever and today she is several pounds lighter, looks 10 years younger and no longer has any of her symptoms.
Gail believes in meridian lines so much that she changed her career to study in the theory and is now the UK trainer of only six practitioners in the UK today. I was lucky enough to visit her practice and obtain a reading myself.
We had previously agreed for her to scan me with no prior medical history notes, so this was going to be interesting and it suddenly hit me – What was she going to find? Instantly Gail put me at ease and showed me the The BioScan SRT (Stress Related Therapy) System which is a non-invasive Class II Medical Device and by simply attaching two stripes around my middle fingers and another to the top of my chest, a click of a button and we were off. Beep, beep, beep…
In less than 3 minutes the beeps indicated that it had picked up one of my major ailments; my digestive system was being compromised, in fact it pin pointed exactly where on my body too. Then another was detected which is an old injury in my vertebrae, to a vascular reading which could indicate stresses elsewhere and certainly matched my symptoms that this could cause. I was completely blown away at the accuracy of the machine and this was only a taster! She then looked into possible treatments for my symptoms, which all rang true and has now lead me on a journey down the leafy vegetables route and a diet that is highly based around my blood type. A refreshing result, given my findings to date.
Gail certainly knows her stuff when it comes to the body. A Health Screen MOT taster is a great introduction to the process, however she offers a more comprehensive full body scan which then enables her to scan over 50,000 different areas from organ systems in the body, neurotransmitters, to external problems. Once identified, she can then ‘reprogramme’ the body to react differently via the lasers as the body has created a negative association within various organs, functions or by various items – the stressors. Over a period of time and layer by layer the lasers can alter the association so you don’t experience symptoms anymore.
I now know a route in which is try to gain back optimum health for my own wellbeing and also for the benefit to my family. The need for mothers to stay healthy and strong for the family is evermore apparent as we juggle both careers, growing families and life pressures. Once this journey has begun I will definitely be visiting Gail again to get the full body scan to stay ahead of what my health may throw at me.
