Doesn’t this setting seem a million miles away from the usual busy parenting lives we lead?
Well as Valentines Day is on a Friday this year, it would be great for us parents to celebrate our loved one and little ones with a night off. Baby sitter and dinner reservation booked, all accompanied by a worth while and well deserved Valentines Cocktail.
Searcy’s in St Pancras Grand station, London which is officially recognised as London’s best Whisky bar, has created a Valentines cocktail which features subtle blends and aromas in cocoa, vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg toffee and orange, courtesy of General Manager, Peter Alderin.
So why not hop on the train and experience the unique setting of this regenerated international station, dine and be delighted with the intoxicants that are bound to tempt you.
However if you wish, tuck the children up in bed and once asleep, set the kitchen table for two, with last years half burnt candle proudly sat in the middle, and have a go at the recipe to accompany the well prepared and almost now traditional meal at home.
45ml walnut infused in Cognac (walnut symbolises happiness in many countries)
20ml fresh orange juice
20 ml Rosata vermouth
Topped with Searcys Cuvee
Served in a martini glass
Garnished with cinnamon and walnut
Just ensure you don’t over do it, as we all know kids and hangover’s dont mix!
