New luxury children’s footwear brand, Young Soles, are very excited to be launching their first Spring/Summer collection, featuring lightweight designs for both boys and girls inspired by classic styling and British heritage.
Started by entrepreneur and experienced shoe designer, Louise Shill, the inspiration behind Young Soles’ latest collection is the ‘Great British Seaside’. Louise comments, “Many people have commented on how Young Soles’ designs give them a sense of nostalgia, and for me, nothing is more nostalgic than a day out at the beach, with ice creams and sandwiches in a traditional British café.”
“For the Spring/Summer season we’ve introduced a fantastic selection of shades to choose from for the warmer months. We love vintage seaside colours and styles from the 50s and 60s – they provided the perfect themes for our SS15 photoshoot, and we had a lot of fun on the beach in the forgotten seaside town of Millport up in Scotland.”
Young Soles designs are all finished to a high specification; lasts that follow the shape of the foot with a wide toe and narrow heel, comfortable soft leather uppers and linings that allow the upper to mould to the contours of the foot, a lightweight and flexible outsole for growing feet, and styles that complement a variety of outfits.
Having won the Milk award for “Best Shoe Brand” in February this year, and founder Louise Shill being nominated for “Best Shoe Designer” at this years Footwear Industry Awards, Young Soles has now arrived at a stockist in Stockbridge.
